Hanna is 2-7 against Harlingen since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. The Golden Eagles will be playing at home against the Cardinals at 11:00 a.m. Hanna has given up an average of 31 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Last Thursday, Hanna took a blow against Veterans Memorial, falling 42-7.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Harlingen). They won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Veterans Memorial 40-39.
Harlingen's win came from a few key players Hanna will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Hassan Woolery, who rushed for 122 yards and three scores, and also threw for 134 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only ten passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (152.1). Noah Huerta was another key back, rushing for 179 yards and one TD.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Harlingen was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 304 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 230 rushing yards in four consecutive matchups.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Harlingen's defensive line and their five sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as five different players picked up one apiece. Arturo Torres was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, forcing one fumble, and making six total tackles.
Hanna's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Harlingen, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.
Hanna came up short against Harlingen when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 10-6. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Cardinals' Nathaniel Gonzales, who rushed for 106 yards and one score.
