Eaglecrest had won five straight at home, but  on Tuesday they bumped up to 10-7 to make it six. They were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Grandview Wolves. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  3-1  back in September.
 Anayah Rucker paced Eaglecrest's offense, picking up eight kills. Rucker got some help from  Caitlin Lengefeld and her ten assists. Finally,  Katie Drugan kept Eaglecrest's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.
As for Grandview,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 6-11. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 8-7 Cherry Creek (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 56.1% over those games).
 Grandview's loss  came despite strong showings from  Ruby Igel and  Maliyah Bui.  Igel  had nine  digs and two  aces, while  Bui  had six  kills, five  digs,  and two  aces.
 We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Eaglecrest will  challenge  rival Cherry Creek  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Meanwhile, Grandview is set to  take on  their familiar foe Overland  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
