Fullerton piles up the points against Elba

The Fullerton Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They really took it to Elba for the full four quarters, racking up a 79-20 win at home. That 59 points margin sets a new team best for Fullerton this season.

Fullerton's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kane Wetovick, who scored 16 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Wetovick is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Dubas, who scored 20 points along with five steals.

Fullerton's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Elba, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fullerton will challenge Lutheran-Northeast on Thursday. Lutheran-Northeast presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Fullerton in Nebraska (Lutheran-Northeast is ranked 50th, while Fullerton is ranked 200th). Elba's road trip will continue as they head out to face Harvard at 7:30 p.m. on January 25th. Harvard is on a five-game streak of home losses, Elba a nine-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
