The Victor Valley Jackrabbits will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Western Christian Fighting Lancers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Victor Valley can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 24-7 win over Silverado.

Victor Valley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nikolas Blocker out in front who picked up 87 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Blocker was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 69 yards. Victor Villa was another key contributor, rushing for 105 yards and a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Western Christian can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Trinity Classical Academy 67-20 at home. The victory was some much needed relief for Western Christian as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Jared Doolittle continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 330 yards and five touchdowns while completing 84.6% of his passes, and also punching in two touchdowns on the ground. Doolittle is on a roll when it comes to passing yards, as he's now passed for 300 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Darryl Booker, who picked up 109 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Victor Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Western Christian, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 6-4.
