Portola saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 19-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shadow Hills Knights. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Portola's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Shadow Hills, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-2.

Portola didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 33-6 win against Vasquez on the 30th. As for Shadow Hills, they have also already played their next matchup, a 21-6 victory against Bellflower on the 30th.
