Volleyball Recap: West Noble Falls Short Against Ranked Northridge

West Noble faced Northridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Chargers fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 2-1. The game marked the Chargers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Elyse Mead paced West Noble's offense, picking up 12 kills. Mead got some help from Ella Limerick and her 13 assists.

Northridge's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mya Maurer, who had six digs and two aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, West Noble fell to 4-1. As for Northridge, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

West Noble wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Mishawaka on the 23rd. As for Northridge, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Fort Wayne Bishop Luers on the 23rd.
