Soccer Recap: Booker T. Washington Magnet Takes a Loss

Booker T. Washington Magnet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 5-1 to the Marbury Bulldogs. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Yellow Jackets couldn't quite close it out.

Booker T. Washington Magnet's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Marbury, their win bumped their record up to 4-2-3.

Booker T. Washington Magnet will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Alabama Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th. Booker T. Washington Magnet has given up an average of 6 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Marbury, they will take on Tallassee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
