Basketball Game Preview: Gering Bulldogs vs. Chadron Cardinals

The Gering Bulldogs are taking a road trip to take on the Chadron Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Tuesday. Gering took a 50-35 bruising from Bridgeport. The loss continues a trend for Gering in their meetings with Bridgeport: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Chadron put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 64-38 margin over Gordon-Rushville. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Cardinals had established a 24-point advantage.

Chadron's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Gering, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Gering strolled past Chadron in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 67-51. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
