Game recap: Randleman High School Football Team wins against Wheatmore

RANDLEMAN, N.C. - A big 24-point second quarter helped carry the Tigers to a 47-0 victory over Wheatmore (Trinity, N.C.) on Saturday.

Randleman scored on a Nathan Sloan touchdown pass to Jacar Green, a Spencer Hamilton touchdown run and a touchdown pass by Judson Petty to Juval Mollette in the quarter.

After taking the lead on a kick return touchdown by Green in the first quarter, RHS was up 33-0 at the half.

The Tigers grew their lead to 40 points entering the fourth quarter. Randleman scored once in the quarter on a defensive touchdown.

Randleman's standout player in the win was Mollette. He caught one touchdown. He has now scored six touchdowns on the season.

The Tigers came in allowing an average of 18.2 points per game this season.



When the two teams played each other last season, Randleman came away with a 37-0 victory.

The win brought Randleman's winning streak to three games.

In a 2A Conference 8 game next week Randleman (6-1) takes on T.W. Andrews, and Wheatmore (0-7) will go up against Trinity also in a 2A Conference 8 game.
