Volleyball Recap: Susquehannock Find Success

If William Penn wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Susquehannock, they should've done a better job of containing Rachel Eden. The Warriors put the hurt on the Bearcats with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday thanks in part to Eden, who had 17 aces and 12 digs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.6 aces per game.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Susquehannock was: they took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-2, 25-7.

Susquehannock's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for William Penn, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Susquehannock will head out to square off against West York Area at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for William Penn, they will venture away from home to challenge Harrisburg at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bearcats are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
