Football Game Preview: Delta Saints vs. Turlock Christian Eagles + Official Tickets

The Delta Saints will square off against the Turlock Christian Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Delta will be strutting in after a victory while Turlock Christian will be coming in after a defeat.

On Friday, Delta made easy work of Florin and carried off a 46-24 win. Considering the Saints have won five games by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Chase Parkinson was his usual excellent self, rushing for 39 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 88 yards and one TD. Those two rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Turlock Christian lost to Valley at home by a 40-22 margin on Friday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Delta is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.5 points over those games. As for Turlock Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

Delta beat Turlock Christian 14-6 in their previous meeting back in September of 2016. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Eagles' Nathan Son, who rushed for 89 yards and one score on only eight carries. Now that he won't be playing on Thursday, will it be easier for the Saints to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
