Soccer Game Preview: Classical vs. South Kingstown + How To Watch

Classical hasn't had much luck against South Kingstown recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Purple will be playing at home against the Rebels at 5:30 p.m. Classical has given up an average of 3.2 goals per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Friday just wasn't the day for Classical's offense. They came up short against Bishop Hendricken on Friday, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Classical can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Rhode Island soccer rankings (they are ranked 31st, while Bishop Hendricken are ranked first).

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, South Kingstown was not quite Shea's equal in the second half on Monday. They fell 2-0 to the Raiders. South Kingstown fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Shea since Monday.

Classical's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for South Kingstown, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-11-2.
