Softball Preview: Tidehaven Tigers vs. Columbus Cardinals

On Tuesday, everything went Tidehaven's way against Edna as Tidehaven made off with a 12-6 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Tidehaven.
Maleah Galvan was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (she also didn't allow any walks). Galvan has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive pitching appearances. Galvan was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, Columbus made easy work of Industrial on Tuesday and carried off a 13-5 victory. The win was just what Columbus needed coming off of a 13-3 loss in their prior matchup.
Tidehaven now has a winning record of 11-10-1. As for Columbus, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-7.
