New Riegel waltzed into their match on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 41-40 W against the Lakota Raiders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 68-40 back in January.

New Riegel's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Lakota, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.

Looking ahead, New Riegel will host Calvert at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Calvert knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully New Riegel likes a good challenge. As for Lakota, they will head out to take on Old Fort at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
