Basketball Recap: Six Straight Road Victories for Brentwood

Page typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Brentwood proved too difficult a challenge. They snuck past the Page Patriots with a 63-59 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Bruins sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Page's loss came despite strong showings from Mary Fox and Mia Hauptman. Fox went 7 of 14 en route to 20 points along with five rebounds and five steals, while Hauptman went 5 for 12 on her way to 22 points. The dominant performance gave Hauptman a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Samantha Lee, who posted nine points and three steals.

Brentwood's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points per game. As for Page, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-5.
