With a playoff win on the line, Anthony Wayne rose to the challenge on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the St. Ursula Academy Bulldogs an 8-0 shutout. The Generals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six runs or more this season.

Anthony Wayne has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season. As for St. Ursula Academy, they moved to 23-4 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-game winning streak.
