Leake Academy put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Simpson Academy Cougars with a sharp 56-30 victory. The Rebels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Leake Academy was led to victory by Jenna Allen and Sarah Prince. Allen went 6 of 10 on her way to 15 points and six rebounds, while Prince went 5 of 9 on her way to 12 points and three blocks. Those three blocks gave Prince a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Marleigh Myers, who posted four points and five rebounds.

Leake Academy's win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-0. As for Simpson Academy, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-3.

Leake Academy will venture away from home to take on Park Place Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Leake Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.9 points per game this season. As for Simpson Academy, they will host East Rankin Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
