Basketball Game Preview: College Park Falcons vs. Berean Christian Eagles

College Park has gone 6-0 against Berean Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. It'll be Battle of the Birds when the College Park Falcons take on the Berean Christian Eagles at 7:00 p.m. College Park is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.1 points per game this season.

On Monday, College Park strolled past Concord with points to spare, taking the game 66-47. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 404th, while the Bears are ranked 1034th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Miles Cooper and Akeem Smith were among the main playmakers for College Park as the former posted 19 points and the latter put up 16 points. Those 16 points gave Smith a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mathys Joseph, who had seven points.

Meanwhile, Berean Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Northgate, falling 72-49.

Berean Christian now has a losing record at 7-8. As for College Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Everything came up roses for College Park against Berean Christian in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 70-37 victory. In that contest, College Park amassed a halftime lead of 37-13, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Wednesday.
