Soccer Recap: Bear River Takes a Loss

Bear River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Colfax Falcons. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-2 back in December of 2024.

Bear River's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Colfax, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bear River will host Oakmont at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Oakmont's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Bear River's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Colfax, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Center at 7:00 p.m. Colfax is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season.
