Football Recap: Stranahan Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Stranahan lost against Blanche Ely back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mighty Dragons fell 40-33 to the Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Mighty Dragons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida football rankings (they are ranked 181st, while the Tigers are ranked 38th).

Stranahan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Blanche Ely, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Stranahan will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Coral Glades at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Blanche Ely, they are taking a road trip to square off against Atlantic at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give the Tigers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
