After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Greene, West Greene was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-49 win over the David Crockett Pioneers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 44-41 back in December of 2025.

West Greene's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for David Crockett, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

West Greene has already played their next matchup (against South-Doyle), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for David Crockett, they will square off against Morristown-Hamblen West at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pioneers will be up against the Trojans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.56 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
