Softball Recap: Hamilton Township Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Hamilton Township came into Saturday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged out the Grove City Christian Eagles 11-10. For the Rangers, this counts as revenge for the 8-4 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2023.

Hamilton Township got a massive performance out of A Belin, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was K McKnight, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Hamilton Township was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .438. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Hamilton Township picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 3-7. As for Grove City Christian, their defeat ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-3.

Coincidentally, Hamilton Township and Grove City Christian will both be playing Canal Winchester the next time they take the field. The Eagles will host the Indians at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Rangers will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
