The Century Diamondbacks will take on the Twin Falls Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Century is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 49-21 win over Columbia. The victory was just business as usual for the Diamondbacks, who after nine games remain undefeated this season.

It was another big night for Justus Mangum, who rushed for 194 yards and three scores on only 11 carries, and also threw for 83 yards and one TD while completing 80% of his passes. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 104.8 rushing yards per game. Another player making a difference was Tito Villano, who rushed for 110 yards and three touchdowns.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Century was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 346 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Century didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Braxton Jablonski and Adrian Gonzalez. Gonzalez is on a roll when it comes to interceptions, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
Meanwhile, while Twin Falls put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Ridgevue. The Bruins blew past the Warhawks, posting a 38-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bruins in their matchups with the Warhawks: they've now won three in a row.
Century better keep an eye on Jackson Sattelberg. He was instrumental in Twin Falls' win, rushing for 146 yards and one score while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. Those 146 rushing yards gave Sattelberg a new career-high.
Century's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Twin Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Century has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 187.5 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Twin Falls struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 173.3 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Century was taken down by Twin Falls 56-8 in their previous matchup back in September of 2022. Can the Diamondbacks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
