Buena Vista had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Grape Creek Eagles by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The Longhorns were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Eagles, so the Longhorns were just returning the favor.

Buena Vista's win bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Grape Creek, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, Buena Vista and Grape Creek will both be playing Sonora the next time they take the court. The Longhorns will head out to face the Broncos on Saturday, while the Eagles will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
