Zion Chapel hasn't had much luck against Luverne recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. Having struggled with three losses in a row, Zion Chapel turned things around against Goshen on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 40-27.

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Luverne's strategy against Pike Liberal Arts on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Luverne blew Pike Liberal Arts out of the water with a 59-13 final score. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 22 points or more this season.

Zion Chapel's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-12. As for Luverne, their record is now 13-6.
