Volleyball Recap: Minooka Indians vs. Oswego Panthers
Minooka was the 2-0 winner over Oswego when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell 2-0 to the Panthers on Thursday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
While Minooka had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18.
Gavin Brandani and Connor Latta certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Brandani had ten digs, while Latta had three digs.
Minooka's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Oswego, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-9.
Minooka wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Downers Grove North on the 2nd. As for Oswego, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Plainfield East on the 6th.
