Volleyball Recap: Michigan City Finds Home Court Redemption Against Warsaw

There's no place like home for Michigan City, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They put the hurt on the Warsaw Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday.

While Michigan City won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-23, 25-20.

Ethan Hlas paced Michigan City's offense, picking up ten kills. Hlas got some help from Mark Mills and his 19 assists. Finally, Donavin Kappel kept Michigan City's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

The victory got Michigan City back to even at 13-13. As for Warsaw, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

Michigan City didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Crown Point on the 8th. As for Warsaw, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Northridge on the 8th.
