Baseball Recap: Christian Academy-Louisville Has No Trouble Against Chicago Christian

After only one run in their last contest, Christian Academy-Louisville made sure to put some runs up on the board against Chicago Christian on Wednesday. The Centurions blew past the Knights 13-1. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Centurions' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Trevor Daugherty tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Cameron Combs was a standout: he scored three runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-2. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Carson Hahn also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Christian Academy-Louisville now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Chicago Christian, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Christian Academy-Louisville will square off against Ketchikan at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chicago Christian, they will face off against South Oldham at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
