Volleyball Recap: Santa Paula's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Santa Paula waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Carpinteria Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Cardinals have posted against the Warriors since September 15, 2022.

Santa Paula never let Carpinteria on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-14, 25-14.

Madilyn Stonebraker paced Santa Paula's offense, picking up seven kills. Stonebraker got some help from Emma Campbell-Luna and her 14 assists. Stonebraker and Campbell-Luna didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with six apiece.

Santa Paula's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Carpinteria, they dropped their record down to 4-9 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
