Volleyball Recap: Eaglecrest Wins High-Profile Matchup Against Cherry Creek

Eaglecrest faced Cherry Creek in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Raptors blew past the Bruins 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Raptors in their matchups with the Bruins: they've now won seven in a row.

Eaglecrest never let Cherry Creek on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-22.

Jackson Shaw paced Eaglecrest's offense, picking up 11 kills. Shaw got some help from Dillan Ancheta and his 17 assists. Max Chen controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
