Volleyball Game Preview: Harrison Raiders vs. Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory Braves

The Harrison Raiders will head out to challenge the Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Harrison is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Indiana's top teams: Guerin Catholic, who was ranked 22nd at the time (Harrison was ranked 23rd). The Raiders walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Golden Eagles on Saturday. The win was some much needed relief for the Raiders as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Indianapolis Bishop Chatard by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. The Braves haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

While Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Indianapolis Bishop Chatard scored at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 29-27, 22-25, 25-21.

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-7. As for Harrison, their victory bumped their record up to 11-4.
