Soccer Recap: Sequoyah Comes Up Short

After flying high against Woodstock on Thursday, Sequoyah came back down to earth. The Chiefs fell just short of the West Forsyth Wolverines by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Sequoyah couldn't quite close it out.

Sequoyah's defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-10. As for West Forsyth, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-1.

As of now, neither Sequoyah nor the Wolverines have any future games scheduled.
