Basketball Recap: Overhills Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

If Terry Sanford wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Overhills, they should've done a better job of containing Ja?Von Motta. The Overhills Jaguars took down the Terry Sanford Bulldogs 73-54 on Friday thanks in part to Motta, who almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine boards. He has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played.

Deshaun Barton was another key player, putting up ten points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds.

Terry Sanford lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being James Ravenell, who posted ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Walker, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten boards.
