Volleyball Recap: Salem Takes a Loss

The Salem Quakers came up short against the Heartland Christian Lions on Saturday and fell 2-0.

While Salem was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-23.

Abigail Knickerbocker paced Salem's offense, picking up four kills. Knickerbocker got some help from Macey Troy and her eight assists.

Salem's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Heartland Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Coming up, Salem will head out on the road to face off against Alliance at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Heartland Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against United on the 23rd.
