Softball Recap: Providence Christian Academy Starts Season with Victory Against the Webb School

Providence Christian Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand The Webb School Feet a 19-0 shutout.

Elsa Oddy was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Allie Melton, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

The Webb School's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Providence Christian Academy LIONS duke it out with Battle Ground Academy Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for The Webb School, they will square off against Columbia Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
