Basketball Game Preview: North Rowan Cavaliers vs. East Davidson Golden Eagles

The North Rowan Cavaliers will take on the East Davidson Golden Eagles in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Wednesday, North Rowan came up short against Central Davidson and fell 43-33.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Dasia Elder, who posted seven points. Another player making a difference was Krisstyle Stockton, who had seven points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, East Davidson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 45-32 to Providence Grove.

North Rowan's loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2. As for East Davidson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

North Rowan skirted past East Davidson 2-0 in their previous meeting back in February. Will North Rowan repeat their success, or does East Davidson have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
