Volleyball Recap: Moanalua Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Corona Del Mar

Moanalua is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Corona del Mar. The Menehune fell 3-1 to the Sea Kings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sea Kings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on Saturday.

Moanalua's loss dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Corona del Mar, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

Moanalua has already played their next game, a 3-1 win against Chatsworth on the 19th. As for Corona del Mar, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Punahou on the 19th.
