Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Albert Falcons. If the Yellowjackets were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Falcons when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Anabella Herron paced Jefferson's offense, picking up six kills. Herron got some help from Teygan Rasmussen and her six assists. Cierra Wieland controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for St. Albert, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Jefferson has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Denison-Schleswig on the 4th. As for St. Albert, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Lewis Central on the 4th.
