Klahowya takes loss despite strong efforts from Carson Langguth and Eli Kraft

Recap: Klahowya Eagles vs. North Mason Bulldogs

The Klahowya Eagles were the 79-50 winner over the North Mason Bulldogs when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Klahowya lost to North Mason at home by a decisive 63-48 margin on Saturday.

Klahowya's loss came despite strong showings from Eli Kraft and Carson Langguth. Kraft dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Langguth scored 17 points along with three steals. Kraft scored a full 27.1% of Klahowya's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Solvie, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Leading North Mason to victory were Derek Dunham and Cameron Revelez. Dunham dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 assists, while Revelez went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 26 points and 0 assists. The matchup was Revelez's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Andrew Littrean, who scored five points along with five rebounds.

Klahowya's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for North Mason, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5.

Klahowya will head out on the road to face off against Life Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. That game will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Darius Imperial and Kraft. As for North Mason, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Bainbridge at 7:00 p.m. Bainbridge presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than North Mason in Washington (Bainbridge is ranked 108th, while North Mason is ranked 244th).
