Football Recap: Freedom Starts off Right with Win over Hylton + How To Watch

Freedom took care of business in their home opener on Thursday. They secured a 13-7 W over the Hylton Bulldogs.

Freedom didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. Leading the way was Andrew Lewis and his one interception. Ryan Mulcahy was another major factor on D, picking up two sacks and making nine total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Freedom will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Rock Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on the 12th. As for Hylton, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Osbourn Park at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
