St. Joseph Regional is still eight ratings points behind Bergen Catholic and will face another strong opponent this week when it takes on DePaul Catholic (Wayne, N.J.).
Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, N.J.), which lost to St. Joseph Regional in its opener, also rebounded nicely with a big win over St. Joseph's Prep. The Ironmen jumped from No. 17 to No. 7.
The regional rankings are based on the
MaxPreps Computer Rankings, presented by the Army National Guard.
The Northeast region includes teams from Pennsylvania, Connecticut,
Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York,
Rhode Island and Vermont.
