Volleyball Recap: Mascenic Regional Comes Up Short

After flying high against Farmington on Wednesday, Mascenic Regional came back down to earth. The Vikings lost 3-0 to the Souhegan Sabers on Thursday. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Sabers when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mascenic Regional now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Souhegan, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Mascenic Regional and Coe-Brown Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:45 p.m. on May 5. The Bears will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. As for Souhegan, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Goffstown at 6:00 p.m. on May 5.
