Volleyball Game Preview: Marin Catholic Wildcats vs. Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks

The Marin Catholic Wildcats will head out on the road to take on the Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Marin Catholic is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Marin Catholic came up short against Redwood on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

While Marin Catholic was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Redwood's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-13, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Tamalpais unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 3-1 to Redwood.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16, 19-25, 25-13.

Tamalpais' loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 6-4. As for Marin Catholic, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Marin Catholic suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Tamalpais when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can Marin Catholic avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
