Africentric Early College got themselves on the board against Briggs on Friday, but Briggs never followed suit. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 34-0 victory over the Bruins. Considering the Nubians have won three games by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Josh Smith was his usual excellent self, rushing for 46 yards and a pair of TDs, while also throwing for 192 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 passes. A healthy portion of Smith's aerial production (91 yards to be exact) went to Caleb Anthony.

Africentric Early College didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Anthony and Te'Vion Smith.

Africentric Early College's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Briggs, they suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 2-2.
