Springstead's tournament run continued when they took on St. Augustine on Saturday. Everything went the Springstead Eagles' way against the St. Augustine Yellow Jackets as the Springstead Eagles made off with a 53-29 win. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Briana Coleman had a dynamite game for Springstead, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. Those 11 boards gave Coleman a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariana Willoughby, who posted 17 points and seven rebounds.

Springstead smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.

Springstead's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for St. Augustine, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Springstead is taking a road trip to challenge Lecanto at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Augustine, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fernandina Beach at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
