Cortez skates past Glendale with ease

The Cortez Colts's and the Glendale Cardinals's match on Wednesday was close at halftime, but the Cortez Colts turned on the heat in the second half with 46 points. Cortez really took it to Glendale for the full four quarters, racking up a 73-44 win on the road. That's another feather in the cap for Cortez, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

It was another big night for Ulysses Espinoza, who went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 30 points and 2 assists. The match was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Devan Fowler, who scored 14 points along with five assists and four steals.

Cortez is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season. As for Glendale, they bumped their record down to 2-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
