Meanwhile, Old Forge came up short against Holy Cross on Wednesday and fell 7-3.

Jake Iacavazzi was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Old Forge's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Honesdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

Honesdale might still be hurting after the 12-0 loss they got from Old Forge in their previous matchup back in April. Can the Hornets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
