Football Game Preview: Whitewright Tigers vs. Tioga Bulldogs + How To Watch

Whitewright is 0-3 against Tioga since November of 2022 but things could change on Friday. The Tigers will head out to face off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Whitewright has given up an average of 30.5 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Whitewright is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 41 points back in September, they were much more limited against Tom Bean last Friday. They were beaten by the Tomcats 69-6.

Meanwhile, Tioga came up short against Tom Bean on Friday and fell 47-38. The Bulldogs gained 158 more yards on the day, but it was the Tomcats that made the best use of them.

Whitewright will have to contain Greeley McAden as he made an impact in Tioga's last game. He rushed for 292 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 245 yards and one TD. McAden showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 57 yards. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Hernandez, who gained 136 total yards.

Whitewright's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Tioga, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Whitewright couldn't quite get it done against Tioga when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 34-27. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
