Marmion posted their closest win since March 29th on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Providence Catholic Celtics 2-1. This was payback for the Cadets, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The victory made it two in a row for Marmion and bumps their season record up to 6-13. As for Providence Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season.

Marmion has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against DePaul College Prep on the 26th. As for Providence Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Whitney Young on the 26th.
