Bowie had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They secured a 59-55 W over the Greenhill Hornets. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Hornets are ranked 379th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bowie's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Greenhill, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
